Classroom visit and First Day of School!

Edison is starting 5th Grade at a new school this year!  He's excited, but a little nervous. We went last night to meet his teacher, unpack supplies, and get his locker assignment. Once he practiced the combination a few times, he was able to open the locker no problem.  I think he's going to have a great year!  And bonus for me; he is now able to take the bus since we are out of range for walking!  So down to the corner everyday instead of waiting in the crazy drop off/pick up line.  Hooray!

Lake Geneva, WI

We spent a few days in Lake Geneva, WI for our vacation this year.  The weather was perfect; sunny and not too hot.  We enjoyed playing on the beach, swimming at the pool, going on a boat ride, and seeing a few sights.  It was a relaxing few days to end the summer!

Our room was very nice!  And a huge jaccuzzi tub, too.  Nice!

Taking another walk on the lake shore path.  We saw some big houses and a neat inspirational area where there is a bell to ring to make miracles happen.  =)
