Happy Halloween!

What a busy day!  We went to Woodfield Mall for their Mall-o-ween celebration since it was wet and rainy outside.  We figured it would be fun to trick-or-treat around the mall in case we didn't get out much later on.  Unfortunately, everyone else had the same idea and the mall was packed.  There wasn't much room to walk and we only did a short circle before calling it quits.  We went to Target and bought a bag of good candy instead and hit up Spunky Dunkers for a treat!  ;)  Later in the afternoon, Edison and I headed to his friends house for some Halloween fun and trick-or-treating with his friends.  There was a huge group of kids!  Edison had a good time and we ended up eating pizza and hanging out with friends before doing a little more trick-or-treating in the dark.  It didn't take long for him to get tired!  I tried to get some Halloween pictures of the kitties, but they were not being too cooperative.  Magpie didn't really mind wearing the bowtie, though.  Riff and Raven hated it and I couldn't even get a picture of them wearing it.  LOL!

Fall Trip to Springfield, MO

Edison had a couple days off of school for a long weekend, so we decided on a road trip to Springfield, MO to visit the Hahn family.  It was me, Edison, Grandma Turner, and Mat who went.  Brian had to work since he had other days off this month.  Edison had a good time visiting with his cousins.  He made pizza, visited a pumpkin farm, and played games (like Minecraft) with his cousins.  He loved helping out with his baby foster cousin, too, and wanted to push his stroller at the pumpkin farm. Unfortunately, he ended up getting sick while on vacation, and spent a lot of time relaxing and watching TV.  But even with feeling under the weather, he still had fun over the weekend.  Here are a few pictures from our trip!
