Happy Easter!

Edison enjoyed coloring eggs (he said this year he wasn't too old-but last year he was!) and then on Easter morning he had fun on the annual egg hunt in our house. We were trying to be more sneaky this year with hiding them, but he was able to find most of them with no hints. His basket was full of goodies and I think he ate half his jelly beans in the first half hour. =) Then we went to dinner with family at Bohemian Crystal once again this year. Yum!

Happy 11th Birthday, Edison!

Edison had a great 11th birthday! He loved opening even MORE presents from us and Grandma and Grandpa Schultz. They were even able to talk to him via Skype and watch him open his gifts. Gotta love technology! The BB-8 was a huge hit as well as getting his first real concert tickets. We are taking him to see Weird Al this summer. =) Thank you to everyone who made Edison's birthday so special!

Blue and Gold Lunch

Edison has officially crossed over into Boy Scouts! We had our annual Blue and Gold Lunch that celebrated the Webelo II's and they had their crossing over ceremony with a local Crew. Edison even had a chance to get up to the microphone and lead the boys in saying the Boy Scout Oath. His new Troop leaders were there to give him his new neckerchief and welcome him into the Troop. He will be going over with his good friend, Clark, and I think they will have lots of fun in Boy Scouts together. There is a week long camp that Edison is considering going to (he is still unsure and wants me to go with him this time) so that will be a huge adventure for him this summer. We look forward to getting to know the new scouts in his Troop. Congratulations, Edison!!
