Day off at the Zoo

Edison didn't have school today due to Parent/Teacher Conferences, so we headed to the Brookfield Zoo with his friend.  They had a blast seeing all the animals and the weather was perfect!  We spent a lot of time in the bird house trying to feed them.  At first they were interested in the bird seed, but once we got a second set of sticks, they didn't feel hungry anymore!  And it was really fun watching big flocks of birds fly together and making all of us duck for cover!  The red panda woke up and was eating and walking around, which was also fun to see.  It was a great day off!
