A Busy Weekend

We had a busy, but fun weekend!  On Saturday the weather was so nice that we decided to check out Cosley Zoo in Wheaton.  It's small, but very nice and had cute animals to see.  Edison's favorite was the raccoon who looked like it was trying to think of a way to escape!  My favorites were the newborn lambs that were just a couple weeks old.  So cute!  Brian got some good shots of the goats as they were checking out his camera.

Then on Sunday, Brian was out geocaching (and getting his 5,000 cache!!) so Edison and I headed to Chicago to the Museum of Science and Industry.  He has been begging to go back for a while now, so I gave in.  I had to drive to the city all by myself and we didn't get lost!  =)  GPS's are the best.  We visited the traveling exhibit "Brick by Brick" and as you can see from the pictures, Edison loved it.  We spent almost a whole hour looking at Lego sculptures and building with legos.  His other favorite area was the giant train layout, of course.  But we also got around to the farming area, weather science, the submarine, and some other fun areas.  We were both exhausted when we got home!
