For our summer vacation this year, we kept it close to home and visited the Wisconsin Dells. We hadn't been there in a while and had never taken Edison in the summer when the go-kart tracks were open. He was so excited to drive around all the tracks! We stayed at Mt. Olympus this time, a new one for us, and the amusement park and water parks were included with our stay. The first night, we hit up the go-kart tracks and Edison enjoyed driving around and around! After the go-karts, we went to get ice cream, then found our way to the Ripley's Museum. There were some cool things inside, but it was a quick tour.

Day two started out with more amusement park with go-karts and also a couple smaller rollercoasters! Edison actually enjoyed them! After lunch, Edison and I headed out to the water park while Dad went to play disc golf. It wasn't too crowded, so Edison had fun trying a few slides and hanging out in the lay river and wave pool. Then in the evening, back to ride karts and we had ice cream, too!
Day three started out very lazy! We got up late and just chilled out in the room before getting lunch. After that we tried out more water parks and found the really big wave pool. It was a massive wave that came about every 2 minutes. Edison had a blast jumping around in there all afternoon. He also dragged me on a raft ride, which turned out to be a little wild, but fun. But I drew the line at the mat slide and just watched as he went down that one. It was a very fun day!
After the water park, we went our for pizza and then just relaxed for the rest of the night before heading home the next day. Edison and I had to get ready for our next adventure!
We couldn't finish the pizza, but had no trouble eating the cookie sundae! =)
