Brian's Road Trip to WI, MN, SD, ND, MT, SK and MB

I took a geocaching road trip through WI, MN, SD, ND, MT, SK and MB from April 11 to April 14.  We drove 2480 miles.  Here are some pictures from my trip.

Minnesota, dontcha know.

 Snowy steps in Minneapolis.

The Twins ballpark .

Not many places to eat in Wheaton, MN, especially at 8:15pm, so we ate at the American Legion Hall.

No, this is not the Bates Motel.  It's the Wheaton Inn.

Snowmobile stop sign.

It would be a good idea to not go in the ditch here.

The Badlands of western North Dakota.

We tried to go to the  Theodore Roosevelt National Park for a cache but it was closed.

Did a cache in a cemetery on a hill in Medora, North Dakota.

More badlands.  Best scenery on the trip.  Everything else was flat.

Now entering Montana.

Our first blue sky of the trip, in Montana.

Montana badlands.

There is a lot of oil drilling in northwestern North Dakota.

Someone bought a lot of gas.

We made it into Canada.

Passport stamped.

Estevan, Saskatchewan

Getting a cache in Saskatchewan.

We saw a moose.

The creek was named after him, apparently.

It got foggy in Canada for a while.

Lots of bison...

 ...and deer.

Our Malibu rental.

There was a cache on this bridge, and the GPS told us to keep going onto this mud road.  We didn't.

Instead, I reversed off the bridge and back into the gravel road.

Right before we crossed the border back into the US.
