Brookfield Zoo and the iHobby RC Model Convention

Last weekend was really busy!  Edison and I visited the Brookfield Zoo on Saturday.  We had fun seeing all the animals (Edison especially enjoyed seeing the baby snow leopard and the dolphin show), walking through the dinosaur exhibit, riding the tram, and playing in the play zoo.  After the zoo we met Grandma Turner and Aunt Kristy for dinner before heading home.  We got caught in some rain right as we were leaving the zoo, but other than that, the weather was good!

On Sunday we all went to the iHobby Convention in Schaumburg.  They had model cars, trains, planes, tanks, trucks, and anything RC related.  There were RC plane and helicopter demos going on and the kids could drive slot cars and RC trains.  Edison was in his element, that's for sure!  We had a great time!  Thanks to Uncle Verne for giving us a heads up about the convention!

Bonus video at the bottom: Edison finally got the hang of swinging on a swing and can practically fly! =)
