Goebbert's Farm

Today, Edison had a day off of school so we decided to head over to Goebbert's Farm in South Barrington.  It was fantastic!  We invited Avi, a friend of Edison, and my friend Vicki and her daughter Meredith came with too.  The first thing we decided to do was see the giraffes.  What a nice surprise that we could feed them!  Edison was a little scared, but held out a long carrot for the giraffe to take.  Avi fed them a little bit too.  Then it was my turn!  I was so excited to feed them that I asked the woman standing behind me to take my picture.  =)  What a fun experience!  After that we saw some more animals and then went over to the play area to explore.  A fun time was had in the corn box, too.  After a drink and snack we went to pick out a few pumpkins and grab some last minute pictures.  It was a very fun day!  We'll definitely be going back sometime!
