Edison: March 2014

Edison had a fantastic 9th birthday! We started out by going to Cheesecake Factory for his birthday dinner (on the 21st) and they even sang Happy Birthday to him! He opened some more presents that night and was excited to get his Mario blanket, a small pool table game, and a video game. (Spoiled much?) The next day (his actual birthday) we left for the Dells for Spring Break. We stopped at his favorite restaurant, Buffalo Phil's, and sat next to the train that delivered our food. Then it was to the hotel and a night full of swimming and water slides. The next few days were spent in the pool and arcade and going out to eat. Edison loved playing games in the arcade and won a couple big jackpots. We ended up with over 5000 tickets, so he picked a big wolf animal to bring home. He also had fun playing Magiquest at the hotel. He became a master Magi! =) We came back home on Tuesday and spent a few days around town seeing a movie, visiting Chuck E Cheese, going to the mall, and Edison played his new video games. The weather here was wet and cold, so we pretty much just hung out inside and didn't do much. Yesterday, we had Edison's family party at the house. He enjoyed playing with his cousins and visiting with his aunts, uncles, and Grandma Turner. Edison got one final present after his party on Saturday; his very own knife!
