Edison had the sniffles, but we encouraged him to tough it out for his first orchestra concert of the year.  They did a great job!  It's been fun watching these kids improve over the past 4 years!  Awesome job, Edison!!

Edison's Winter Concert 2017

For this year, the Winter Concert was held for only the 7th and 8th Graders at Stevenson High School.  It was much less crowded this time!  Edison's orchestra did very well and the songs sounded wonderful.  They ended the concert by playing together with the 8th graders.  Very nice show!

Edison's Fall Orchestra Concert

The 6th, 7th, and 8th graders had their first concert last night.  Edison had fun playing the songs and wearing a costume!  He switched places for a couple songs, so the kids are able to sit in different sections and play different parts.  They are doing a great job so far!  Here's to another great year!

Labor Day Weekend!

We enjoyed some beautiful weather Labor Day Weekend.  We went to Kenosha, WI and played some disc golf and climbed around on some rocks near Lake Michigan.  It was Buffalo Grove Days this past weekend, and we went to the parade and also visited the Car Show that was new this year.  Edison loved seeing all the different cars and had fun picking his favorite.  (A Dodge Charger, I believe.)
