Lego Train Display at Cantigny

We visited Cantigny today to see the annual Lego Train display.  Edison was excited to see the trains and all the different Lego models.  He even spotted many vehicles and buildings that he has at home.  After looking at the trains for a while, and spying Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper lurking around, we went outside to explore the tanks.  Even though it was wet and chilly outside, Edison had fun climbing up on the tanks and looking around.  When everyone was getting a little cold, we headed inside to the First Division Museum to look at the displays from WWI through Desert Storm.  Edison enjoyed seeing the different displays, but was a little nervous about walking through the trench replicas.  It was a little dark and he wasn't sure if something was going to pop out at him.  We told him that it wasn't a haunted house, so that shouldn't happen.  =)  He even walked through some of the museum a second time, so he seemed to like it!  After seeing the museum we headed back to the train area for a little while longer and got to see Darth Vader and some other Star Wars characters rocking out.  It was a fun way to spend a Saturday morning!
