Happy Halloween 2014!

What a difference a week makes for Chicago weather!  It was very cold this year for Halloween and we even woke up to snow flurries!  That didn't stop Edison from having fun, however.  On Thursday night he carved his pumpkin.  He wanted to do it all by himself this year (except for the scooping part, that was my job) and he did a great job!  Gilly wanted to help, too.  Then on Friday he had fun walking in the school parade and at his classroom party.  (The room moms are awesome this year!!)  After school we went to his friends house and had fun taking pictures, playing with friends, and then going trick or treating.  After that the kids watched a movie and played xbox to warm up.  Since it was so cold, we didn't go very far, but Edison was happy with the amount of candy he got.  Brian and I had fun dressing up too.  I'm not sure if blonds have more fun, but I enjoyed being Miss Piggy for a day!  And Brian's costume made me laugh when I saw it.  He didn't tell me beforehand, so I was surpirsed!  We hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween, too!
